On this adventure, we will be traversing a roughly 60-mile loop in and outside of the Anza Borrego State Park. Our morning meetup area will be in Santa Ysabel at the Julian Pie Company.
After our meetup, together, we will convoy down to the desert floor as we make our way to the trailhead. From that point, the 60-miles of the off-road trail starts (actual mileage may vary). Be sure to bring plenty of food, water, and medicine needed for yourself and all your passengers. A lunch stop will happen somewhere along the journey near noontime.
Equally fundamental is to ensure your vehicle is well maintained and in good overall working order. We will be utilizing GMRS radios as well as HAM radios for those of us who are properly licensed to transmit on such frequencies.
This will be a day of Overlanding trails experience, trails will be rated easy to moderate, NO oversized rock crawling will occur at this event.
If this adventure sounds like something of interest to you, we would be delighted to have you along for all of the fun and adventure. All attendees must be kind, respectful, and supportive of each other. Lousy attitudes and inflated egos are not tolerated within our circle of supporters.
We ask that everyone involved please be straightforward and unpretentious. Operation Overland is an across-the-board premise established to allow each of us to grow together while supporting those in need.
